Re-Certification Notice: The Department of Public Works (DPW), Solid Waste Division, is contacting residents who currently receive backyard services to complete their annual re-certification.

RE-CERTIFICATION FOR BACKYARD SERVICE IS REQUIRED ANNUALLY. Residents must renew backyard service by November 30th. Backyard service will be interrupted if documentation has not been received by that date. 
 
City of Atlanta trucks must be able to enter the driveway for collection and the backyard must be accessible to DPW personnel; otherwise, backyard service cannot be provided.
 

If your garbage backyard service was missed and is being reported after 3:00 PM the scheduled day of collection or within two (2) business days, an online request may be submitted below, or you may call ATL311 at 404-546-0311. If it has been more than two (2) business days, your garbage will be collected on the next scheduled collection day.
